Recently, Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Sinoma EC") signed the first overseas carbon WHPG project contract of Sinoma EC with Shenyang Aluminum & Magnesium Engineering & Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "SAMI"), the general contractor of Saudi Arabia SCPC petroleum coke calcination EPC project.
Saudi Arabia SCPC petroleum coke calcination project includes petroleum coke calcination system, WHPG system and its supporting facilities. Sinoma EC actively cooperated with SAMI in all aspects. With deep and solid professional knowledge, tailor-made solutions, customer-oriented service spirit, and rigorous and pragmatic work attitude, it has been unanimously recognized by Saudi SCPC and SAMI.
The project uses Sinoma EC's second-generation carbon WHPG technology, which realizes the integration of WHR and flue gas denitration purification, and is a model for promoting the development of "WHR +" business. The WHR system is designed according to the isolated grid operation. After completion, it will provide all the power required for the petroleum coke calcination production line. It is expected to achieve an annual power generation of 57 million kilowatt hours, save 20,000 tons of standard coal per year, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by nearly 570,000 tons/year. In addition, the system has the function of flue gas denitrification and purification, which reduces nitrogen oxide emissions by about 438 tons per year after being put into operation, making the project have good economic and environmental benefits. The signing of this project is another fruitful result of the company's "two -foreign" market strategy.
The smooth implementation of the project will play a positive role in further promoting the construction of an international circular economy, jointly addressing global air pollution, and providing more energy-saving and emission-reduction technologies and products for the carbon industry.
Saudi Arabia SCPC petroleum coke calcination project is the first international EPC contracting contract of SAMI’s tank calciner, and it is also Sinoma EC's first overseas carbon WHR project in the carbon industry. The sincere cooperation between the two parties has formed a "go-global" joint effort, providing owners with more cost-effective options, driving all-round output of production capacity, equipment and technology, and creating a benchmark case of the cross-industry central enterprises to go overseas as a group.
